Health and safety law states that an Organization must be provided :
l Safe system of work
l Safe plant and equipment
l Necessary training and supervision
l Necessary Personal protective Equipment.

Identify the direct and indirect costs of accidents.
l Direct cost comprises of first aid treatment, leaves pay fines and etc.
l Indirect cost comprises the cost of recruitment, loss of reputation, and lost time for investigation.
l Insured cost: insurance premium will be increased,.
l Uninsured cost: damage (plants, buildings, and equipment)
