Job Description / Responsibilities of Safety Inspector?

1. Creates HSE awareness through training.

2. Arrange Safety meetings and Safety talks.

3. Carry out the Safety inspections and Audits.

4. Visit the workplace before starting work to identify the potential hazard and carried out the risk assessment and take care of hazards.

5. Handle the permit if required.

6. Manage the accident reporting and investigation.

7. Maintain a regular channel of communication through the consultant and client to achieve the objective of HSE.

8. Ensure HSE procedures should be followed all the time and maintain violation records.

9. Oversee disposal of wastes.

10. Maintain first aid facilities.

11. Toolbox talk should be provided to the employees according to the nature of the job before starting work lasting 10 to 15 minutes.

12. All the workforce should be provided induction training, refresher training, and mock drills to educate the workers that how to treat in case of emergency.
