l Every company / plant must be develops and implements an emergency plan to protect their employees, visitors, contractors and others present in the facility.
l Establish a warning system (e.g fire alarm or a public address system) that can be heard by all.

l Switch off the equipment in use.
l Vacate the workplace.
l Reach the nearest muster point
l Hold a role call or headcount and call for rescue.
l Stay at muster point till all the clear signal is raised.
